The room was modern, well sized and the bed was super comfy after a long day travelling/working. I dined at Terasu which was fantastic! Highly recommend the Kingfish Cervice! I also went to the rooftop bar and although the weather was overcast and incredibly windy, the view was fantastic. I would love to come back and enjoy this bar on a day when the sun is shining and it's not blowing a gale!

Loved our one-night stay for my birthday. Had drinks and dinner next door at new sister property, Ardo in the lively rooftop bar. The room was comfortable with 2 double beds. The next day we enjoyed lounging in the lovely pool area and my daughter shouted me a wonderful massage at the hotel spa. Last time I stayed here was 32 years ago. It’s wonderful how they’ve kept such an old building modernised and contemporary. Top spot with beautiful views over to Maggie Island.

Lovely rooms, wonderful hosts, sumptuous breakfast and good location. I will return.

Close to supermarket, restaurants, cafes, ferry and buses. The only part that isn’t great is the location can get a bit touristy - being right next to the ferry. It’s also a 10 minute bus ride to a swimming beach and the buses only leave once an hour. However everything else is great!

What a hidden gem in Townsville! We absolutely loved our stay at Victoria Street Boutique Hotel. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxe shower products to the complimentary local craft beers in the mini bar on arrival. Such lovely touches that make the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to anyone visiting A standout stay that truly exceeds expectations. We can’t wait to return!

Close to the footy

Very friendly staff, large comfortable room (king executive room), central location, we used taxi from airport ($30) as we arrived too late for shuttle bus. Hotel decor looks well kept, not old, but colours are drab & lacking warmth & giving it an old fashioned feel, everything in the corridors & the room was brown. A bit of colour would brighten up a stay. It’s saving grace was the large windows. We had a small balcony on 18th floor it was very windy up there. Rooftop pool was great with...

Amazing experience ! Very comfortable & quiet. The decor is modern & fresh, breath of fresh air to see a well maintained Hotel. Highly recommended for all travellers. Business travellers perfect for all your needs, I will be back very soon!!!

This is our second stay at Oaks M on Palmer and we love the location, the layout and décor of the rooms and the excellent friendly staff. Only thing that was a bit annoying was the loud banging of the next door studio apartment. They layout of the door entrances means that whenever the person in next studio goes in and out there are two doors to open and "bank" closed. 5.30am in the morning is a bit offputting. But otherwise completely happy with our stay and will be back again when next in...

Spacious room with balcony. Located on the strand close to shops and restaurants. Comfy bed and very clean.

Beautiful sea views and surrounds. Very spacious apartment style rooms.. Quiet and relaxing scenery.. On a side note on checkout, reception staff could use a smile. Found the receptionist to be fairly bland. On checkout, advised her that the fan in the main bedroom and lounge room weren't working and was basically told " oh ok, will let someone know" that's it.. No apology, no anything .. Then continued with what ever she was doing.. She didn't ask how my stay was or anything. So a lil...

This is a great location, easy parking, and we had lovely service from the lady at the front desk who went out of her way to see if our room could be ready a little earlier and who was very friendly and lovely. Air works a treat.

Private double room was perfect for a couple. Airconditioning and a fan to keep cool after a busy day.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Felt like we had the pool practically to ourselves the entire time. Eat every dinner in the poolside restaurant, with fresh generous sized meals. Great location, very short walk to the ferry terminal.
